Story behind this is that in the Mirror-Verse Kirk and Spock were mostly frenimis-with-benefits. They really didn't show much affection in their couplings, until one Christmas Eve Kirk sneaks in a bough of mistletoe to sneak a kiss from Spock and confess his love to him

The mirror!verse piece is awesome, too. I love the Vulcan artifacts! And the kinky side of mistletoe is a really nice fit for mirrorverse. :D
