Last picture of my contributions...and I'm really sorry

The prompt for this was 'Christmas Angel' and I had to go and make it all sad by relating it to Spock Prime and Kirk Prime...:c But to me I'm pretty sure that Spock Prime just feels so lonely on Christmas because Kirk was the one who helped him appreciate the holiday like he came to appreciate his human half.
Again I'm really sorry, what a downer way to end my art contributions wow.

Date: 2013-12-17 06:15 am (UTC)I don't think this is a downer! It's sweet that he would still celebrate the holiday and use it to remember Jim. I'm sure they had a lot of great holiday memories while he was alive. Always love seeing your art here and on Tumblr!

Date: 2013-12-17 06:36 am (UTC)As someone who's lost a husband (how careless of me!), let me reassure you that this isn't a downer. Yes, this is a time when one's loss can be felt more strongly, but it's also a time when happy memories come flooding back. That's how I see your angel - as the personification of Spock's happy memories.

Date: 2013-12-21 05:37 pm (UTC)Technically I love how you've got Angel Jim slightly transparent, and those wings are wonderfully drawn. (I drew this prompt last year, it was my experience that wings are hard to draw and you created them beautifully.) Your starry sky is very well done (including the nebulae--I think that's what they are called or is it pulsars? Anyway they are well done!)
